~The Last Airbender: Legend of KorraI heard of Korra last summer while in the States and I remember thinking "that guy looks cool" while looking at a promotional image for the show in the paper. Well, a year later and I realize that it's actually a lady! Wow, my observation skills really did fail me, haha. Anyways, I was so impressed by the first two episodes of the series that I had to abandon the usual and draw this!

Ooo, I don't know its hard to figure out what motivates Tarlok I think he is out for himself and I think he likes conflict and wants there to be a war between the benders and non-benders.

Not yet, it airs April 14th at 11am on Nickelodeon. However, Nick released the first two episodes online on the 24/25th March. I think they're still up on their website, if you want to check them out. I'm new to the Avatar series but I'm so excited for LofK! :]

Korra is kick-ass and I can't wait to see her develop as a character and a fighter. Also, I'm starting to love the idea of her and Mako together - 'Makorra' - as the fanbase already named them. XD
I felt like I was cheated when Katara and Zuko (from the first series) were never meant to be. It's probably the only non-canon pairing I've ever really liked. With this, I hope they make those two work! Please please do Mako next or Makorra. Whichever one you're cool with.

Totally --she's funny, eager, strong, the kind of character you love right away. Did you say 'Makorra'? You must have read my mind because I plan on making a Makorra picture next! I'm also starting to like that pairing and can imagine all the funny events Nickelodeon has in store for us. So, did you see the kiss. XD They managed to sneak that into a trailer, hehehe.

Avatar was pretty great. Usually when they make a successful show like they did with the first series, it's hard to top it. With Korra though, I definitely think it's on a different level on a more epic scale with sprinkles of the formula they perfected before. I get the 'adult' feel after just two eps BUT it's still fun. Amazing.
You should check Avatar one day though, do a marathon one summer or something. I did that sometime before the third season ended and it was fun for me. xD

There is certainly an epicness to Legend of Korra. I also feel the more 'adult' (and young adult) atmosphere to the show. This is partically why I enjoy it so much. I'll look into the original series when time permits. :] I'm also hoping that LofK gets uploaded on youtube so I can watch it because I don't have the Nickelodeon channel.

Hmm... I don't know about them being uploaded on youtube, you know the copyright thing will be an issue. -_- All I did was just google it and some site had the episodes streaming.

KorraNation had it up...I think it was last weekend. (Only for the U.S. though). Just the first 2 episodes. It doesn't start 'til 04/14 in the US.
