As part of the 1920s Flapper series, here is a sketch of a possible Asami outfit. Ok so she doesn’t quite look like Asami… I don’t know why I’m having such a hard time making her look like her but I’ll edit and update once it does look like her. I was inspired by a few different dresses including different clothes that Asami wears (for example, the top front is inspired by the coat she sometimes wears, the colors are vaguely reminiscent of the colors of some of her clothes albeit different hues) I wanted the bottom part of the dress to look more like the bottom part of the gown she wore at Tarrlock’s party for Korra, but I forgot when I drew and colored it and this sort of just happened, haha. I may update this to make it more like what I originally had in mind. Basically the bottom line is, everything looks better in my head. Lol

I gave her a little bit of an edgier dress since I thought she’d totally rock it. Asami and Korra both like to push their boundaries in their own ways and I could totally see her doing something hot. Not that Korra wouldn’t, but it just doesn’t seem much her style. Though I do want to do maybe an edgy dress for Korra too. I also see Asami as the hit up the dance floor kind of gal. Korra likes dancing but has spent more time training and bending while dancing and being social was more Asami’s world. Or not. Whatever. Make of it what you will. I can totally see her and General Iroh tearing up the dance floor.

Next up, hopefully is Lin Beifong.
