Interesting an unique concept, remembering that in contrast to other Legions, there in virtually no mentions about Terran Thousand Sons, which were presumably lost, when Thousand Sons fount their new home Prospero and supposedly discover the cure against flesh-change.
So. it seems this is true veteran, one of those tormented Astartes, which came with Magnus on Prospero...

well there is only 1000 terran marines. so i can imagine magnus decide to take from prospero instead terra. also he will try to mix the prosperian culture wit the terran one instead of push the terran ones like mortaron did
