Description
I wanted to get back into my fantasy drawings and paintings. More of the darker versions of Fairy Tales particularly...Painted the base of this in watercolors and went over it with my Prisma color pencils.
11x14 inch on drawing paper.

Oh this is so pretty and haunted...when I was a child my grandma always told me about red riding hood (other was hansel and gretel) I always remember that when I see pictures from red riding hood faerytale.
The shadow of the wolf is really haunting. You managed to make it look very scary and innocent same time.

Thank you so much! I always thought it was one of the more disturbing fairytales with all the symbolism the story hides. I wanted to make it more menacing looking than scary.

I absolutely love this concept! It looks just like the cover for a fairytale book. The idea of showing the wolf's shadow instead of the wolf itself is just brilliant and so original. There's also this aura of mystery and fear when you can't see her eyes. A truly haunting piece! The colors are so vibrant, but eerie at the same time. Gorgeous work!
