Thought I'd be showing a more vulnerable part of myself in these last few photos, this: a whole new spectrum; and defile: an unfinished, and flawed work in progress. This is my first attempt at nature photography. I never seriously tried for a nature shot because I always felt that its hard to do the beauty of nature justice. Its more limiting when I see it through a lense, rather then taking a photo of a human which helps me isolate and magnify something special. These are beautiful cherry blossoms in vancouver. Took some for my brother today, since I forgot his birthday and he misses the cherry blossoms in BC.Related content

how is it that the mood of the first one is reminiscent of that of your most scandalous nudes? i see so much sexuality in the first one. only you could take a photo of flowers that way.

yes they fit so well together absolutely lovely.. its like the hole beauty and a smal part of it.. a radious full of life one, and the little darken' one.. beautiful!!

i believe you did a wonderful job.
in the first shot, i love how the cherry blossoms seem to fall out of light, carrying a deep sense of life and growth. a non-geometric display of beaty, or better, a non-linear but natural display of beauty.
as in the second shot i love the curtain effect of the blossoms, and the blurred sky in the back. a more geometric composition, where the lighting is sort of strange, since the focused object is actually in the dark.
the sense of it all is simply beatiful and full of a striking energy. people should stop a little and think of these two shots.
