I really wanted to get this scene out yesterday, but we had a rough weekend in NC with tornadoes power bombing houses and buildings harder than Kelly is powerbombing Jayla here.I thank God my place and my car made it through, there was a lot of unfortunate people who lost literally everything they had. Some even lost their lives or loved ones.
I was actually in the movies watching Scream 4(which was awesome!) and knew nothing of the carnage outside.
But in any case, here's the Killer Bomb that everyone anticipated for poor Jayla!

I'm not gonna change it too much though because based on the great feedback I'm getting from you guys, it's doing pretty good.

Well first off, I'm glad that you're ok, because there are some in N.C. that literally had their lives turned upside-down by those storms over the weekend. I've read that over 60 (!) tornadoes were formed in that timespan. Scary stuff, no doubt.
As far as Jayla, I think that no one would help her because, 1. Jayla's not technically a member of the WME roster, so there is nothing to gain from doing so, & 2. No matter how much of a bitch Kelly is, the others may actually feel for her being embrassed by someone whom fell off a turnip truck, espiecally since Kelly's the top dog. You may be right in saying that the others may feel that the rookie has to pay her dues and this is part of the payment.

Thanks for the shout out to us in NC! Yeah, it was crazy, but what's crazier is that I was literally in the middle of it all, and not a single scratch on me, my car, or my home. God was definitely with me and my loved ones through this.
And yeah, realistically no one would help Jayla - they've all had to face Houston and they know what the Killer Bomb feels like! The rookie hasn't trained or been on the road with them. They owe her nothing

As the one where Jayla hit the moonsault on Kelly was reminiscent of 123 Kid beating Razor, this one reminds me of back in the day when Sid Vicious was a member of the Horsemen and every time he hit his power bomb they would send out for the EMTs to bring a stretcher down to the ring for his victim. Even though KKH's Killer Bomb is more of a Tiger Bomb than a traditional Power Bomb, I would imagine that it has the same effect.
I would definitely say that Jayla is in serious need of a stretcher and an ambulance to take her straight to the nearest hospital!

Sid was another one of my old school favorites! I actually thought he could legitimately "rule the world" as he used to say in WWF! It was fun being a kid watching wrestling when you thought it was real
And yeah, the rookie Jayla is in some serious hurt from that Killer Bomb... She now knows that the canvass aint the same as the trampoline in her back yard!

Yeah...I thought that Sid was legitimately injuring guys with his power bomb and feared for my favorite face wrestlers whenever they had to wrestle him. Turns out that the only person that was legitimately injured by one of his PB's was Brian Pillman in that caged WW3 match b/c Sid was a sloppy worker that didn't protect his fellow workers.
Yes, it was great being a kid and actually believing that everything that was going on was legitimate. Sometimes I think about the fact that I'm a 'smart fan' (as they call us) ruins the fun of pro wrestling as I'm always picking apart the technicalities of everything...questioning the booking decisions and bad story angles...watching for botches...trying to decipher between shoots or worked shoots etc. But every once in a while things will happen where I turn into that little boy that used to love wrestling for what it used to be and straight up mark out!

Same here. As much as I know about wrestling and all the ins and outs, I really didn't think The Rock would come back. When he came back as the WM27 host it really surprised me! I'm like you - I usually know everything before it happens, and I'm usually looking at it way more technically than most people.

Yeah...Rock coming back was one of those moments where I straight up marked out like I was a 7-8 year old again! (although I was in my late teens-early 20s when Rock was at his prime)

Man, my heart goes out to all the folks affected by yet another natural disaster. Happy you and yours made it through. Great scene. This is actually what I was expecting. The girl has to fight her own battles and take her punishments as well. If she can't do both then she has no place in the WME.

My thoughts exactly - why would anyone come to Jayla's aid when she's an unknown who accomplished what no one else has done before in defeating Kelly Houston? If anything, the other girls might feel as though Jayla needs to pay her dues.
Amanda would be the only one who would help Jayla in this situation, but Amanda was injured by Kelly during their last confrontation. It would be kinda inconsistent to have Amanda come rushing out after suffering bruised ribs and being busted open with the belt resulting in a concussion only a week(storyline time)ago.
I opted to make both Jayla and Kelly look good by having Kelly re-establish her edge and badassness after being defeated by an unknown, and let Jayla gain sympathy from everyone by taking a beatdown and not running from it.

The thing is, though, Jayla might have a criminal case against Kelly, since this might count as assault... Considering that she isn't a full fledged member of the WME until she actually signs the contract, which she didn't get the chance to do...

I thought about that, but it would look better for Jayla (as a character) to train and become better, then go after Kelly to even the score - as opposed to pressing charges and having Kelly arrested.
Kelly would inadvertently become an anti-hero if she got hauled off in cuffs, or if she was absent from a future show due to legal issues. lol That might work after a while and Kelly needs time away from the spotlight to become fresh again, but I think Kelly is hot right now as the top heel in the WME. She aint getting arrested any time soon!

seriosly Terry make one the other wrestlers resue her this is not fair she just becoume one the wrestlers she not ready yet you should make one the other girls save her or the boss.

Yeah it really was an eye opener for me. I feel really lucky. It's like dodging a bullet, because people not even 5 miles down the road from me have had their whole world literally come crashing down, and I'm sitting here in total comfort as if nothing happened. Could have easily been me. I wish them the best as well.
