woot.ok..I never get why ppl draw Kakashi as an ANBU member...is it somewhere in the manga that I might've missed, where they say he was a part of ANBU? @_@

And yeah, Kakashi was in ANBU when he was younger. In Kakashi Gaiden, I think it shows stuff of that. Cause he was a chunin at 6, and a Jounin at 13, and then he was an ANBU.

Hatake was an ANBU member for a short period of time during the demon fox war, and doing so was probably one of his greatest accomplishments in his life because he stalled the free demon fox from destroying all of Kirigakure village by himself. That's why he knows so much about the Mist village.
