She hardly noticed this fact though because as she turned one side over she found some kind of inscription. It was in an old language, latin she believed. She brushed it off to get a better look at it and muttered, “Argilla unum simus. Fiat aliquid novi facti sunt et duo in carne una” The rock began to glow violently and brightly humming to life. A circle of energy enveloped Sarah and the inscription she spoke aloud circled it. Soon it did the same thing to Kate. “Uh Kate, what’s happening?!” Sarah called out scared. “I don’t know you’re the one who kept messing with that rock. I told you something like this would happen but you didn’t listen to me.” Kate rebuttled. Soon the orbs moved closer towards each other until the bubbles collided and a bright light flashed across the city. A girl woke up on a bed. The sun peering in the windows stirring her. “Mmm, my head is throbbing” the girl said holding her head standing up and walking over to the mirror. Kate what time is it? No one answered and the girl was definitely puzzled because she remembered her friend Kate being there. “Kate answer me what time is it?” Still no response. The girl looked back and saw no one in the room with her, just the bed which showed clear signs of a body being there recently. “Whatever I’ll find her eventually but first I gotta get rid of this headache.” The girl reached for her bottle of ibuprofen, grabbed a bottle of water next to her mirror and as she did she caught a glance of someone completely different looking back at her. She put the bottles down and moved her hands to her face and the girl did the same. She didn’t recognize herself. She saw parts of herself but she also saw Kate’s features mixed into her. Her eyes had changed colors becoming the light purple just like the stone. Her body was slim. She had creamy tan skin, she had Kate’s her legs, long and thin. Along with her blonde hair.
