The lightning in this one is absolutely amazing! Fantastic! One thing that disturbs me is the composition- you cut off the edge in the foreground. Having left this would(well, from my simple point of view) have improved the photo, just because it wouldn't distract the watcher's view from the pyramide.

I think so, the Louvre and the place around it is always crowded- it's quite a wonder that you got it this way.
PLUS- you don't have that much time, do you? Shots like these- or, the fantastic lightning, whatever, tend to be over in a few minutes- I hate that when trying to get sunsets, they're away before you even got near to your camera. Damn nature xD

yes ... Exactly. I remember when i was living in Australia, i lived down one of the hill. And on my way back home from school everyday, i had to go from the top of the hill to go down. So many times, i caught the beautiful sunset on the top, so i rushed home as fast as i can and grabbed my camera and ran all the way up hill (very tired) to take the picture. But normally when i got up to there. the sun already almost disappear and the golden momment is lost. So funny though. My friends called me crazy for that .

Haha, I'm just the same. I sometimes come home from town or other things and see the most beautiful sunsets. The only problem I have: I don't have my camera with me, and until I'm home(by car), have taken my camera, AND my bike and driven there again, it's almost dark. My parents do the same your friends did, not to speak of my friends, who'd call me crazy and hyperactive for that, as I would be driving faster than I ever would, just to get one single photo. Haha, life as a photographer is hard xD
