The other day I was watching Adventure Time clips out of boredom. I'm not that big of a fan, but I do watch it some of the time out of curiosity to see how the final season is going along. Well, during that day, at the end, was a dedication pause for someone named "Mandy Long" and I got curious. It turns out, that Mandy Long was an inspired artist who I think was planning to go to art school. Sadly, she passed away from brain cancer. But, from what I am assuming, the creators of Adventure Time must've heard about her being a fan and her passing away, and made that little tribute at the end of the episode, which you can find here at the very end: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eato8r…

Her very last two posts were both a poem and a boy. Reading this poem sent chills down my spine and for the first time in a very long time, made me genuinely cry for a moment. I don't fully understand the poem to its full extent, but I knew enough that it was so powerful to me personally. This picture is more of a dedication for her, something I deeply felt obligated to draw that I went out of my own way to figure out how to actually draw 'space'.

Wherever she is, I'm sure she knows she's loved and missed by her personal friends and family. This is dedicated to you, buddy. Thank you for touching my heart with such an inspirational poem.
