Morning warmup, theme was environment day. What sickens me to my core is there are people out there who will call you a snowflake, sensitive, or weak just because you have a caring opinion that looks at situations through different angles. I ain't no tree hugger and I ain't no saint, but that selfish attitude is poison and I refuse to have that mindset. My outlook of the future is bleak and I'm tired of talking to brick walls.

There is a bit good though, as a kid I use to go to our town's duck pond, wasn't super clean but decent. As I became a teenager it was absolutely filthy, trash, scum and dead ducks in the bushes, absolutely terrible. Years later I revisited as an adult and the city had a new department of parks and recreation, and oh boy did they clean up. The parks were beautiful, ducks healthy and no trash. It was even cleaner than what I remembered as a kid!

There is still a major downside to the town. The town looks cleaner but it IS still an oil town, so it stinks of sulfur, tap water is poisoned with lead, everyone is angry, and there are now earthquakes the past couple of years due to fracking; we never had the 17yrs I've lived there. There's hardly any more lizards, turtles or insects, just birds they have to kill off once in a while. Parking lots just littered with their rotting carcasses. Once as a kid I saw a bird hanging dead by a balloon ribbon wrapped around it's leg.. Awe, I made myself sad again.
