Hi. I was wanting to know if you can tell me how you made the saber dress patterns or if you can tell me some tutorials on how to make them. Can you help me?

Hi there!  It was made with a lot of trial and error.  I started off with a commercial pattern that I modified a lot and then made a mockup to try on.  I basically kept making mockups and altered them until I was happy.   I don't really have any tutorials that I can think of off the top of my head, but I would research mutton sleeves if you haven't done so already.  For my sleeves, I ended up layering them with tulle to make them hold their shape more.

Beautiful armor! Also I love your choice gold trim over the yellow I usually see on costumes.

Thank you very much!  I'm really happy with how the gold ended up looking.

What materials did you use for the armor and sword?

The armor is made of Komatex, which is a plastic you can shape after boiling it in water. The majority of the sword is made of wood.

What other sort of tutorials or methods would be the best with making armor and weaponry?

So gorgeous! I especially love the wig, which seems really natural compared to others I've seen. Also, how did you keep the shoulder puffs from sagging with the rest of the sleeve? I find that happens a lot for me when I do those style of sleeves.

Thank you very much! I used a few layers of tulle to help hold the shoulder puffs in shape.
