Alary is a Mara, also known as an Alp. Alps/Maras are creatures with sit on you in your sleep, causing you to have trouble breathing. They will enter your dreams and give you nightmares. But all their power is stored in their hat, so they REALLY don't want to lose it.
Alary is German (I mean that's where the legends start, not to mention I'm part German) She's giggly and get's distracted easily by shiny and/or sparkly things. Oh, and she has a passion for food: cooking it, making it into food art, eating it, making new recipes, you name it, she does it and loves it.
