I once read this really good oneshot on fanfiction.net by a person who had wondered why Arthur had a loaded die when it would suit someone like Eames that was about how Arthur had obtained the die from Eames.

Yes, this is true. XD I think there's one general poker chip that people draw as his totem and you got it down fine.
