Description
Barbra sat Amaya down and prepared to bandage her up with whatever they had left in this room. She hadn't really known how, and the fact that she may have been a bit too pushy thanks to her extreme mood swings, perhaps it wasn't really the best.
After which, Barbra, in an odd twist of fate, lets Amaya rest, as she then tends to herself. She notices that maybe she had been tying them to the wounds a bit hard, and.. well, after which, they both doze off, happily taking a much needed rest.
The fact that they barely survived an encounter with someone outright stronger than both of them combined, and won.. made both wonder if they were going to die, the fragility of life when things really came down to it.
But, as they were resting, the seemingly gaslit former Pink-Bloods came into the room, asking if she's okay, to which, in their horror, both her and another cultist seemed badly injured.
"What? How dare our boss lay their hands on the one gifted to us by Envisha himself! He really is the true heretic here! Same for those good for nothing women!" One of them says.
"But what do we do now? Do we report this to the higher-ups, do we handle this ourselves?" Another wonders.
"No, it's become pretty clear to us that the whole religion is a hoax, used to convince us to conduct strange sacrifices! Reporting to those heathens would be the last thing we'd want to do!"
"But what do we do then?" Yet another says.
"We'll tend to them the best we can. The brown-haired one seems to be the promised one's friend, so we should extend hospitality. The now vacant bedroom should do fine." One with seniority says.
"But what about all these.. heretics lying about?" One mentions, confused. "Surely we can't kill them, that is against what we've been told!" It seems like they've fallen for Barbra's tricks without even knowing it.
"Carry them off to town, where they'll be held, and eventually tried, fairly." And, so, they do exactly as they set out to do, practically doing what Amaya planned to do.. eventually, and get some healing along with it.
Surprisingly soon, both of the adventurers wake up. It had been about 2 days, and, to their surprise, they haven't gotten any infections. They can move around in bed, but it seems like they won't be able to walk, so they're stuck here for the time being.
Amaya, interested in starting conversation with her new comrade, decides to turn over, feeling some pain in the process and asks:
"Gosh that was hell, wasn't it?" She says with a smile. "If you hadn't been around, I probably would've died. And if I hadn't been around, I don't even know what would've happened. Good thing we managed to make it through!" She giggles a bit.
"Yeah... that was rough.." Barbra says extremely nervously happy.
They spend some time talking to each other, about random things, when eventually, after they get lunch, Barbra asks Amaya:
"If you don't mind me asking.." As she hides her face from being extremely embarrased. "How did you manage to get so strong? I mean, compared to you, I'm a piece of paper." She then realizes what she said and gets even more nervous.
Amaya actually brightly smiles at the question, as if she was delighted that someone finally asked. Actually, that anyone was interested.
"Well, ever since I saw a town guard apprehend a petty thief, and how cool he seemed handling it, about when I was 13, I wanted to get into that spot! At first, I thought it was easy, just ask on my 14th birthday to join, and that'd be that.." But, she looks at Barbra as she says some more. "But, turns out not only was I not really fit for it, but, it might be a pretty bad idea to let someone who's experience is getting beaten up and mud-wrestling take a serious position like that."
"So, what did you do?" Barbra asks in equally as much excitement.
"I trained my butt off, though it was pretty bad and I think I left myself malnourished for a bit. After seeing that hard work, they let me be a lookout girl. Since then, I've been improving my physical strength in any way I can. Whenever I'm not farming, hanging out with my pals, or on duty, obviously." She continues to smile, making a bit of a happy grimace. "Though.. I still can't hold a candle to any of them. Guess that means I gotta improve some more!"
"YOU ARE ACTUALLY WEAK?" Barbra says in a lot of horror.
"Yeah, turns out I'm not even Bronze Grade. Even though I have no idea what it means, and what's above it, I'm still happy with where I'm at. Can handle normal people no problem, but the trouble comes in when they've trained for half as long as I did. Not really a fast learner."
"Well, thanks for letting me know! I'm certainly glad to have a strong behemoth on my side!" Barbra starts gloating again, but ends up getting a pain in her back. "OH GOD THE PAIN!"
"Hey, if you want what I'm hoping for next time we gotta clear out a place, I hope it's a piece of cake!" Amaya gives a thumbs up.. before putting it back down, hurting a bit. "By the way, the scythe is yours! I thought it'd net in some pretty gold, so, if you wanna sell it, it'd get you out of debt no problem."
"You know what? Maybe I'll keep it." Barbra says maliciously happy looking. They both end up laughing, and eventually, another day later, they are finally able to stand again. They stress to each other to take it easy while they get back to Danesburrow.
When they arrive, they're surprised that they are hailed as heroes by some of the townsfolk, bringing smiles to both their faces, just casually waving.
"So, you want to get your debt off the hard way? You know, I'm shocked you have backbone in you." Amaya says, jokingly. Barbra gets scared at the mention of that.
"DON'T IMPLY I'M NOT TERRIFIED EVERY TIME I SEE SOMEONE!" She say, but then switching to a proud smile. "But yeah, I wanna do it by myself. I want to quest and make it up. After that.." She then suddenly turns immensely down. "I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!"
"Well, after that, you could just, keep adventuring. Pays good, and you'd probably be luckier to get help than I would!" Amaya says, as if they are pretty close friends. They aren't, they literally barely know each other, but Amaya is surprisingly friendly.
Barbra heads off somewhere, Amaya thinks back home with the new scythe. She's glad she isn't deterred away from it... she thinks? She should probably head to the inn to see what's going on. And, well, so she does, practically needing some more recovery time.
"Hey peasant adventurer! I have no idea what you did, but it seems like cultist activity has dropped since those 50 or so turned in some of their comrades! You did some fine good work!" The innkeeper says.
"Yeah, I did promise a guy I'd take care of it." It seemed like the innkeeper and Amaya have managed to completely mend the bad blood between them, like they both understand each other. "Guy I fought was really tough. Think he was using something that wasn't magic, but not entirely pure strength either.. though he did wield it as much."
The innkeeper seemed.. worried... like he didn't expect her to come across him, and like he knew the guy from somewhere.
"You mean Gavienus the Second? He was a petty criminal that loved to steal things. Small things. Well, I took 'em down and threw him in the slammer. Guess someone must've broke him out and convinced him that he needed more. That would explain how come he has a bounty of 3 gold. He killed that many adventurers." This did unsettle her a bit, but, then she got a bit of an idea.
"You think that I could get him to teach me how he did that weird aura thing?"
"WHAT?" The innkeeper said, as the entire room also turned their gazes towards her in complete fear and shock. "You idiot, he'd murder you without a second thought! 30 adventurers young one! That's how many it took for him to find one that could best him, and you barely made it out of that alive with a second party member! What makes you even think he'd listen to anything you have to say?"
"I just gotta beat his boss, right?" She says, confident as ever.
"Well, that's a death wish right there. No one has ever seen the guy. Kept themselves well hidden. You'd have to go through at least 2 of his subordinates before he'd think of facing you, and.. correct me if I'm wrong.. but... you defeated the weakest out of all of them." He says as he turns his back around, ready to head off. "Just be happy you got lucky this time."
When she eventually got into her room, which had been provided to her for free right now, she wonders.. she doesn't feel 100% right now, but.. if there's no serious fighting to be had, and Riko is strong enough to warrant the Pink-Bloods to be afraid of entering Eirkystead County.. she could spend her recovering days getting those iron ore, get that going, then head over to the place marked on the map she received.
That's what she thought about, while washing her cloak and garments, then heading to sleep.
When she woke up, surprisingly, she almost felt good as new, leading her to get ready excitedly, waving to the gentle waitress as she came down the stairs.
"Hey, got any quests I can take while I head over to the old abandoned mine?" She says yelling while doing so.
"Well, we have a quest to look for someone who had gone missing in the area, but it pays pretty badly! 10 silver!"
"Who cares? I'll take it anyway!" As she runs out the door, straight north, speeding up as she does so. She runs across the grass, as if she's taking this as a personal challenge to accomplish two things at once, even running straight down the hills. As she sees the nearby dark cloud and whirlwind of sand, she knows it's about time take a sharp turn, and head more north-west. That's where the mine should be.
To be frank, she was doing this to improve her cardio, though she didn't know what that word meant. She just thought it'd be handy to passively train. It takes about an hour, but she finds the cave, which seems mostly intact. She stops, accidentally almost smashing herself into the rocks again, but stops herself by slamming her feet.
"Alright, looks like this is the place. Now to find some ore.. but it seems pretty dark in there.." She thinks to herself. And there appears to be no torch nearby, but.. she could use some of the nearby rocks to spark a stick or something. She knows how to, it's just if she can so close to a sand whirlwind.
She gets the nearby rocks, but.. no sticks.. she'd have to go looking for some a bit away. Fortunately, she found two not too far away. She then comes back, rubs the rocks together to make some fire, and uses the stick as a light source for a bit, while she enters the cave.
There seem to be some boulders nearby. Maybe this part caved in during the sand elementals' arrival. Not wanting to stress herself too much, she put the stick down and moved the boulders out of the way. Annoyingly, this caused her to be unable to get back up.. so.. she had to do so again, but trying to make a crawl space she can get by. And, that worked decently. Now she won't asphyxiate down here, and she can use this makeshift torch to see some more.
Still no Iron Ore though. She wonders if someone came down here and took it all. It was years ago that this happened after all. She'd just have to hope it was recently, or that a rock worm didn't eat them.
An hour passed, the stick almost running out, and still no Iron Ore, except one she found relatively recently. She decides to leave this stick behind so she knew if she was going the right way, and lit the other one to continue.
However, what appeared to be a drilled hole appeared in front of her. Perhaps the nice blacksmith had been mistaken, and the real cause of the collapse was a rock worm.. either way, she didn't want to go down there just yet, so she looked around first.
Fortunately, there were still some Ore, but they seemed to be in the rock wall. She decided to simply grab the ore in the deposit, and pull it out. Surprisingly, this worked, and she got about 5 ore from that one deposit, joining the one she already had in the adventure.
She decided to do the same with another, pulling out 10. She was pretty impressed with her haul, despite the initial objective being far gone at this point. She'd just have to tell him the news... which she felt bad about.
Now, where did this tunnel lead? It clearly wasn't human-made like the others.. so.. she took a severe risk by going down there, but she braved it. And, to her absolute shock, 5 deposits lay there, ready to be pulled, or punched.. but she found pulling what was visible was probably best.
She got another 7, about 2, before he unexpectedly pull one of the ore, and opened something that she really did not expect at all.. a door leading somewhere. Well, that was fine, she thinks she had enough anyway, and it was getting heavy, so, a detour probably wouldn't hurt. Down an odd hallway, she found things she couldn't really understand. Actually, there were blue torches here.
How that worked, she had no idea, but.. it seemed like a special door stood at the end of it all. She thought for a moment, but then decided to give it a shot. What could possibly be in here, she wondered to herself.
What Amaya found past that door were traces of an ancient civilization, preserved through this encased monument to how they were as people. Curiously, a rock glowed red, and many murals were seen all over, but she didn't really care about any of that. She was here to check for loot or something.
However, an odd voice warned her to exit the way she came, as she was not welcome here. The protector will come here, and make quick work of them.
"Wait! I'm not here to do anything to harm this place, I just want a souvenir or some tips, please!" She says, scared for her own safety, knowing how dangerous it was to be here.
"...State your intentions." The voice said to her.
"Well, I want to be an adventurer, not for profit, but for good. To be the best person I can be, and I may.. uhhh....." She nervously looks around.. "Might be able to help as well?" Amaya really hopes that they bought the excuse.
"Oh, pardon our aggression, good adventurer. You may browse as you please, to learn about our people. I advise you, don't touch the control orb. It's what controls the protector, which is our Sand Elemental. Among our great artifacts are the Scythe of Dunes.. the great scepter once used to protect ourselves from outsiders.. and the Light Armor Of Great Wind, which may help you in your journey. If you need to consult our greatest ally, in great duress, the armor will take you to them."
"Well, thank you so much!" She nervously says, also bowing. "I don't plan to take your scepter, but what exactly does the armor do?" She got no answer, so, she takes the cue to get the light armor, and try putting it on over her normal clothes. It didn't really feel any different, nor did any real power come from it, so.. well.. she says goodbye, and promises she won't tell anyone about this place unless they're worthy.
After which, she makes her way back, seemingly trying to figure out how to get her in that dimension they were talking about, but to no avail. The big word really was too much for her to understand.
When she got back and put all the iron ore in front of the red-haired blacksmith. When he noticed she finally got back, he asked where she had been, and she explains that she may have accidentally gotten in over her head somewhere.
"Wow, you really did find a bunch of iron ore! 30 of them too!" He seems genuinely amazed at what he sees! "This is worth about 3 weapons!"
"Well, I only found one off the ground. I think a rock worm may have caused the cave-in, so, I picked some off some lumpy things I found." She rubs her head. "Hope you don't mind."
"No, I don't mind at all. I didn't even know you were that strong! This easily makes up for the axe, actually way over it too! I should actually pay you for this!" He says, excited to get to work. He goes in the back, seemingly getting something, then coming back and placing the extra reward on the counter. "40 silver. I think you deserve it!"
"Uhh.. well, no, I don't really need that much, maybe 20 would be more fair?"
"No, I insist you take it even more now. You have a heart of gold, and I don't want to see you starving out there!"
"How'd you know I was running out of bread?" She wonders, confused.
That was a nice workout for her, as she leaves, having about 55 silver now to her name. Again. She thinks she could probably take care of that outpost of bandits now.. whatever their name was. Purple Cloaks? Is that what she should call them? Eh, either way, it'll b a bit of a relief, and now that she has leather armor, she thinks she'll be fine.
So, she heads off, on her own, towards the spot on the map. Surprisingly, she went the right way, and came across another dense forest. It's like they were intentionally planting these here. Or maybe it's an illusion? She doesn't really know, or care for that matter. What was interesting was the wooden tower she thought she saw the roof of, as she was heading closer.
So goes through, being careful to not alert anyone this time. She does not want any lookouts getting killed randomly again. She felt bad about that after all. Interestingly, the guards in front of the outer wall were in the middle of a board game right now, so.. she could probably sneak over there if she snuck around the tree rings a bit.
And, this turned out pretty well, with only one person guarding that area, and even then, they put their hands up and surrendered pretty easily. So, she went towards the gate, and decided to just stroll on in, confident as ever.

Only one person really sees her and tries to attack, but.. that proved utterly pointless, as she knocked away their weapon and asked them to just surrender so she doesn't have to knock them out with force. However, they were brave and tried to attack anyway, which didn't do anything to her. Amaya sighed, and put him in the ground.
The others seemed busy doing something.. maybe some hobbies or something. She honestly is glad they have a community here, but.. she still has to see what they're doing and if she has to get involved.
They seem to be counting the amount of gold they got from all those lootings, 10 golds worth! One of them mentions that they'll probably be rich if this continues! Who knew grave robbing and petty theft would be so profitable!
"Hey, hate to break it to you guys, but that's a pretty bad thing to do!" She said cockily, towards the party of four counting their earnings. "Gonna have to take that back, have this given to the right parties. I think you should run while you have the chance."
They look at each other, but nervously get ready to fight, as they all charge in, with Amaya hitting two of their weapons away and hitting another guy right in the chin, knocking him out. She then lightly kicks the fourth one's head down, knocking him out. The two remaining look at each other and prepare to rush in, both being young men.
The fight was over at that point, with her breaking both their weapons, concluding that the fight is over. She puts the gold back in her sack, immediately noticing how heavy it all is for her main sack! She might have to take two trips to get all this back if she finds any more!
She looks around some more, hauling the sack slowly around during the evening. It would appear that, another group were counting their own earnings. Pretty small, but they were still glad to have participated. They seemed pretty annoyed that the others got to the good stuff first, only having 1 gold worth of loot.
"Hey, woman power, right? A bunch of ladies, a granny, and I think her grandson all going around robbing people. I'm gonna have to take that back now, thank you very much." However, they don't even really want to fight, they just surrender, and accept that they're going to the dungeon.
"Woah! Relax guys, I don't want to be a harsh adventurer or anything, just be good people and don't get caught up in the wrong crowd." She says as she takes the loot. "Maybe try opening up an inn to compete with the Danesburrow Inn!"
"Wait, that's.. actually genius!" One of the young women exclaims! "I know a few things about food myself! Maybe it'd be for normal citizens rather than for adventurers.. and.. and.. the prices could be lower!"
"See, look! I provide great ideas sometimes." Amaya says happily, while maintaining a bit of a cocky attitude. "Can't wait to go see it!" She then runs off again, heading to another part of inside the outer wall.
However, three pretty prepared bandits suddenly appeared, and they seemed to know what they were doing, carrying spears and all.
One came from the front, while the others came from each other side in a triangle formation, honestly making a good effort to skewer her. But.. she simply ducked under them, and broke a spear, tripping one of them in the process.
"Didn't they tell you to aim for the legs? First tip of wanting to disable anyone." She says, half-mockingly, but also playfully. But, the next move forces her to jump as they heed her words, making her a bit happy she taught them more about basic combat. This does seem worrying though, as she doesn't have decent air control. They end up missing the shot, but she lands on her head, slightly hurting herself in the process.
"Owwww... I never figured out that one trick.." She says, holding her own head in pain. The two then try to take the opportunity to impale her, but it seems like the armor saved her this time. She breathes in a bit of relief, worried that she could've died due to that trick of hers. "Alright, time to get more serious." She thought to herself.
She caught one, and used the middle to deflect the other spear, before it broke on itself. She then slammed her footwear on one of their faces, while breaking the other spear. Now she's got them in a more familiar fighting style. She uses her experience to knock them all out via a strong face-punch to the third bandit, knocking them all out via the impact.
Now then, the last section before she probably has to try a heck of a lot more. Three of the same type of bandit come by!
"Cool! Rematch! This is gonna be fun!" She says to them. However, as they throw their spears this time, she is taken by surprise and forced to dodge, unable to do any offensive maneuvers. This, however, leaves them open entirely, which she roundhouse kicks them all to sleep.
When she eventually busts through the wooden gate, she's a bit surprised there weren't a bunch of guys swarming the place, just five of them. And it really seems like they weren't expected to be guarding this area.
Not a problem for her though. She slowly walks up to them, while they were talking about some random things, them too focused on the conversation for them to even notice her.
"So, you think you'll be able to have a chance with Clanessa? Tough chance, I'm the perfect guy for her."
"No you aren't, you keep failing all the training instruction, and she loves the fighting type. Anything to cause her to not do more work." The subject of the conversation presumably having a smoke. But, as he's about to rebut the claim that he isn't competent, Amaya taps his shoulder and scares the crap out of him.
"Hey, not to be a random outsider joining in a conversation they have no business being in, but Clanessa should get a life. As should you all." She says with a light-hearted smile.
This was the wrong choice though, as she found herself surrounded.. almost as if it had been out of a bit bad taste.
"Tough crowd huh? I got some tricks to show you guys." She is forced to dodge multiple weapon attacks, and a fist apparently, before she's smacked with one and has a bit of a wound on her arm from a sword. However, she is able to smack the heck out of their hands and force the armed bandits to drop their weapons. Which she blocks the onslaught of punches heading her way, before taking one of the guys and slamming him into his comrades, all knocking them out except for Clanessa.
"First time I've seen some decent armor on a bandit. Must be second-in-command or something. Mind telling me where to find your boss?" She comments, not even bothered by the injuries she's taken so far.
"You aren't gonna get that far." She says as she cracks her knuckles. "Maybe in the afterlife kid."
"Come on, you are 10 years older than me max!" But, when Clanessa goes in, she is hit with a sudden parry throw, leaving her on the ground from a failed attempt to kick Amaya. She then tries to trip Amaya, but it only hurts a little, not getting the desired effect. Amaya, finding this bit awkward, considering how she seems so lazy that she hasn't been training much despite being naturally strong.. just gut punches her, knocking her out.
That was fairly embarrassing. Maybe she wasn't the second-in-command. Maybe they were just simping for her and Amaya got too excited. It has happened before, so.. well, got to just bandage that wound, and she'll be fine to ascend the tower.
Oh! Potion! Even better! These happen to be pretty rare, so Amaya drinks one fully, and suddenly finds that she's back to full health. Though, something about this being here really un-nerves her.. like whoever is in that tower is going to be tough. But, she fired up her resolve to get in there, and do Riko a big favor in stopping this group once and for all.
Now that she sees it, it seems pretty tall, but that didn't stop her from entering the big tower and running up the stairs.
"Hey, I've been expecting you, you know? Kind of saw you down there taking out people I'm in charge of. A seemingly battle-scarred, behemoth of a man, with black hair and blue eyes, and a skin-tone lighter than most, stood in front of her on the first floor. "I appreciate your spunk, but, you aren't getting to the boss. This will certainly be a fun evening, as the sun sets."
-- (Mini-Boss)
He goes to make a slow, pretty heavy hitting punch from his colossal hand, but she leaps on it and hits him right in the face, the only way she sees a path to hurt him, as everything else is simply too bulky, and tripping him could cause the whole building to go under.
He then slams his fists down onto the floor, breaking part of it, but allowing her to get onto his hand and hit him again in the face. However, as he readies a windmill attack, she gets underneath and hits him square in the jaw, knocking him back a bit, causing part of the floor to break as well in the process. But, he quickly head-butts her straight through the floor, using that punch as recoil. Fortunately, the ground seems pretty soft, and she only took some damage. She gets back up there, ready to resume the fight.
The man claps his hands together, making some kind of push-back attack, but he is unaware that she got behind him and kicked the back of his head.
"Perhaps I have been too fancy this fight. Here, allow me to show how I dismantle peasants like yourself." He suddenly prepares another fighting style, seemingly not being satisfied with being showy. He grabs a bit of the floor, and throws it at Amaya, who dodges, but at the cost of some floor to stand on. About half of it is gone at this point, and both sides are looking forward to using it to their advantage. He slams the floor, breaking it again, and expecting to hit Amaya, but she dodged and hit a light punch on his head. However, he simply chest-bumped her towards the wall and grabbed hold as soon as she bounced off it.
"Caught you!!!" He says tauntingly. However, she gets free from his grip and retreats a bit. "Oh, where are you going?" He says as he grabs her hard with one hand, seemingly trying to crush her. It hurts quite a bit, but, if she were to use this time to think, she could break free and land a critical hit that she needs right now. Which, she does, and hits him in the jaw again, this time standing on his arm to get another strike in if needed.
He tries to swat her away, but she evades, ending up on some really creaky floor and being quite nervous about it, but.. she's close to winning this. But, he does another smash, now leaving only 25% of the floor intact, and leaving her to fall down again, having to come back up, a little annoyed.
However, as he finds nowhere to really step, he grabs a chunk of wall and throws it at Amaya, forcing her to block and take some damage. However, the debris allowed her to make her way carefully in front of him, and knock him straight out of the tower, him seemingly falling down, unable to follow her back up.
"Yeah, he's probably still kicking. Maybe even still fine, but he can't follow me up here." She says as she runs up the stairs, hoping the next floor isn't too difficult.
But, as she climbs the stairs, she notices, another man, seemingly his younger brother by only a year, sees her come up. He seems to have long hair, and be far slimmer and smaller
"Oh, so you got 'past' Hardi. I can tell you didn't actually defeat him." He readies his fighting stance. "This will make bursting you from the inside endlessly more entertaining!" He says with a demented smile. "Vardi's the name that'll be splattered on your gravestone!"
Immediately on the fight starting, she notices that Vardi is fighting extremely strangely, seeming to fight using only the tips of his hands.. if she wants to do anything to him, she has to break his fingers. Both seem extremely even right now, each having to dodge each other. However, he eventually lands a hit on her arm, causing her to rive in pain, as it seems to be internal damage.
"See? My technique blows apart your muscles from the inside! It doesn't matter how much durability you have, I'll be able to make you a sock puppet!"
"Well, thanks for telling me exactly how it works." As she appears in front of him suddenly, tapping his head as a joke, before grabbing his left fingers and breaking them, causing him to also feel immense amounts of pain. She, before he even has the chance to fix his broken fingers, she breaks his other set of fingers. He seems absolutely seething with pain and anger at this development. "It's honestly pretty cowardly. Putting your opponent in pain they can't see for the express and sole reason of killing them. Be happy I spared your life, to give you the chance to change." She says as she thinks the battle is over.
"YOUUUUU!" He says, very soon, cursing her out, and preparing his feet for battle. "You may have disabled my hands, but my feet are far more dangerous. You might as well be dead if you get hit once!"
However, as if his rage clouded his fighting ability, she simply caught his charging kick by the ankle, and broke his toes. He tries to use his other toes, but, unable to do much other than slam palms on her, she catches that ankle as well, and breaks his other toes.
"Stop. Before you end up in a worse condition." She says, angry that he's willing to throw his future away just to avoid losing and humiliation. She then runs further up, him still riving in pain and even more anger. He begins cursing her even further, even threatening to kill her loved ones, like actual scum would.
However, in a surprising twist, Hardi is heard climbing up the tower, re-entering through the wall, telling her that they aren't done yet, subtlety mocking his brother for not taking self-improvement seriously.
She dodges some of his air punches, to kick him towards the wall again, forcing herself to go a bit back after. And the she dodges him throwing more wall at her, to punch him with the not as injured arm, sending him further back. She only needs one more hit to get hit to fall, and she's sure that he'd survive, but be knocked out from that. He then prepares to slam the entire floor down, ready to kill his own brother in the process, but she jumps on his back, tries to jump, and kicks him off the side.
He is seen falling, seeming really worried about his own safety. Fortunately, he caught himself, but seems to be unable to use his arms right now. That means she's probably fine to continue going upwards.
The fourth floor has three portals, which spawn 3 centaur out of them, who seem ready to kill, and have extremely durable lances.
She decides to aim for the portals first, sliding underneath their hooves and punching two of them out of the tower. They begin to circle her, ready to stab their lances through, galloping at pretty fast speeds, one of which even about to stomp on Amaya's foot. But, she's able to block the hoof, flipping them over for the time being, only leaving two to prevent her from closing the portal. Another centaur comes through, but, after which, she slams the other portal to disable it.
These guys, seem extremely tough, and bloodthirsty. Maybe running upstairs might be a legitimate strategy, which she does, which then she breaks the stairs. This leaves them stranded there, and causes her to be able to go up further.
..Curiously, it's empty.. this must imply the next floor is the leader themselves.. she prepares herself, and walks up to meet them. However, in an almost comedic tone, it's just a normal guy with a Purple Cloak, who begs her to not kill him! He'll stop everything from now on!
"Well, if you say so, I don't really got much time to worry about whether or not you mean it. I'll get you down from here, and then you can turn yourself in for what you've done to Riko." She says, not looking, showing her hand to him for him to hold.
He is not stupid, fortunately, and she gets him past the centaurs, and ends up humiliating Vardi further by actually making it to the top of the tower and 'defeating' the leader.
When she gets back to Danesburrow, with about 16 people being tied with a rope, people seem somewhat shocked she could actually take out that bandit group that handily.
Well, I guess I really got that lucky huh?" She smiles, showing her teeth in the process, just being happy a job is well done.
"..But seriously, I think I might need that weird Riko tape again... owwwwww"
--If you enjoyed, leave a comment for more! I might even make a Waifu FighterZ character sheet for her if people ask enough!--
--Check out the Amaya Adventure Gallery to keep up to date on her journey!--
--Also feel free to ask for the physical appearance of a character you'd love to have brought to life (Nothing too sexual though okay?) and I'll do it--
