Alright , I must say that the colors are very good,the shading looks cool,the most amazing thing about this is the animation,the blast and the impact,it deceives the viewers that this animation looks original,I also liked the intensity the fire in Megaman's Eyes,the lightning effects looks so cool , it nakes me feel that intensity while shooting , the only side effect is the background , the sketchy boxes was okay although I don't like the idea , but it doesn't take away from the animation , the animation looks so amazing overall .

love the shading, and color. It looks like it was made by capcom! I think you drew the texture for the shots in your own style. I love how you made this turn out. It looks like you took your time with each frame of this gif. It also has a hint of dark light in the art style. Mega Man's expression is serious and attracted me instantly to this, as well as the title. I see hardly any flaws in the animation except the quality, but I cant blame you, it's a gif animation. Very Nice job, I love it.

Thanks for the critique, but this piece isn't a GIF. It's a SWF loop compiled in Adobe Flash and drawn entirely in Photoshop as a test animation.
That sort of thing isn't that easy to tell, but I did say what my tools were in the artist's comments.

Very good job in animating this, It looks like it was just out of a cartoon or game cutscene. You say there is a scratchy background but there isnt in my PoV. My only nag is the flash from the blaster firing, it kinda hurts the eyes after a few seconds of watching it. Otherwise I have absolutly no other problems with it.
Vision: Very very nice take on the Original(?) Megaman
Originality: Glory shots have been done but this is a good action animation
Technique: Brilliant nuff said

When looking at this animation, we can almost believe it is an actual cut scene from a Megaman game. The shading done on Megaman's armor is simplistic and not too distracting or overdone which works great with the animation itself. The yellow highlights that shine brightly on him and fades after the blast is executed perfectly. Although this lacks a completed background, it is better that way. The viewer's focus should remain on the animation and not anything else behind it. His pose on the ground and the dust around his legs demonstrate the dynamic force being exerted from the blast quite well.

the rough shapes and reduced graphics on the energy blast make this a much more enjoyable light show because the main blast is not overpowering and distracting from the atmospheric reflections and shadows
the discharge waves I would say to improve on them only as much as to be more indicative of the air wavering like a literal cannon discharge rather than distraction dust
the back ground isn't that big of a deal to me... though the artistic detail probably mandates that they should be finished - but i would only suggest to make it dark and hard lined so that it still is like the current backdrop but still feels like an actual dark building that is not reflecting the blaster light.... on that note I get the inclination of a dim church cathedral. blacks, dark greys, dark blues, and purplesΒ Β Β
this feels like a cartoon or a game animated cut scene of which i see so little of
-let alone done like the game has merely been opened up into a faithful movie or open world game-
that even in it's technically unfinished state i feel immersed- though my nostalgic fan feels are at play, i feel like this is an example of how to give the character and all peeps like him more life in the great way fans came to love them for.
I'm more comfortable with giving you suggestions and ideas over imperial star ratings ...
