Bwoosh.

The gro flinched away, his arm retracting from the mushroom, now but a mere pile of ashes, filling up the air with a burnt stench. Did he do that? Isaac wasn't sure, it might've been him but he did control his magic better now, especially after the magic class...He was calm so there shouldn't have been any random magic outbursts.. Maybe the mushrooms set themselves on fire? Or the sun was sizzling on them? He looked up between the branches, searching for the glowing orb in the sky. No, the weather was getting better but it still wasn't enough to set something alight.

Unless..

Someone was following him. Or something.. Maybe a vile boo? They had magic, right? He did feel like something was watching his back for a while now, making him a little uneasy. Isaac didn't want to be attacked right now, especially not by an angry animal. Or a spite. The thought of a kindrin slowly crawling towards him while he was busy picking up things for this one contract made him tense up his shoulders. The gro remembered all the stories of kindrins torturing their victims, feeding off of them, their panic and all. Ripping of their limbs even..

Maybe if he just..

turned..

There were a pair of eyes on him. Well...even more than two. They seemed wild, wicked. Quite mesmerising in their own way. A spark of mischeviousness dancing in them before the outer corners of them shone bright red, smug grin plastered on the gros face. Ah.. so it was him. Isaac guessed it was his revenge for the last time. Isaac would ignore him and carry on with his task but the noise of steps and walking through bushes rang a bell in his head. He set the mushroom on fire. He might've set me and more of my contract stuff on fire. Without thinking much of it he quickly grabbed his dagger and stood up, summoning fire around himself, burning a bit of foliage around him. That gro could mess up his plans. Azazel. If he burns more of these flicking mushrooms, Isaac will guarantee him swift death.

"Back off."
