Went to the one remaining hobby store in San Antonio today and came home with two new/old HO Scale kits. This was the first car I bought; an Athearn "Blue Box" #5032 Cotton Belt 50' Double Door Automobile Boxcar. This is the first 50' Boxcar in the collection as well as the first pre-weathered freight car in the collection!
It already came with Kadees, which is a bonus, the wheels I think are upgraded to metal as well and is overall and overall has a nice weight to it that I think will help keep it stable on the track for ages to come.
UPDATE 8/3/23: This item has been sold and is no longer part of my collection.
