Wow this looks really good! I love seeing Pokemon Fan Art like this. X3 so creative.
And peolple seem to be impatient...>_>;; EV training really doesn't take THAT long. I EV trained many teams on my Diamond without complaining.

The only ones who are mine are Torterra, Minun, Tyrogue, Rattata and Chatot, but I haven't used any of these guys in a while.

Cool picture. I like how you did the reflection in the water.
I was wondering though... on my computer it seems like you shaded everything except your skin. Is it just my computer or is there really no shading there?

It's there, but it is very subtle. I suppose I could have spent more time on it.

To be honest I never saw the whole deal with EV training....I'd rather get max stats with a cheat device. Same results less time.

All official Nintendo sponsored tournaments have a device that makes sure that your game has never used any sort of cheating device, and some will disqualify you if you've even traded with someone who has.
Also, for every PokΓ©mon that is caught or hatched legitimately, there is a small segment of code that is attached to the PokΓ©mon's file to assure its authenticity which can not be replicated with any device that I currently know of, which ensures that all tournaments are conducted in as fair an environment as possible.

You can speed up EV training?
π: 0 β©: 1
Bombkirby In reply to chaosinuyasha [2008-04-01 22:22:43 +0000 UTC]
With AR you can make any pokemon appear in the wild, so if u make Raichus appear you can get plus 3 speed EVs instead of the plus 1 from a Zubat or something. Thats as far as I'm willing to cheat. I'm sure there is a code out there that makes u gett 100 EVs after one kill.

Oh ok that makes sense. Though I have no clue what pokemon gives what EV. Also is it possible to get max stats? Or do you gotta pick and choose what you EV train?

Bombkirby nearly got it right. If you ever wanted to seriously consider EV training, I suggest you go to [link] and navigate to the EV section of the appropriate game.

Each Pokemon can get like 250 extra stat points (not actual number) and about 100 points maximum can be added to one stat. So u if u want a defenseful pokemon train for Sp. Df/Defense then the remaining amount of EVs can be trained in HP. U can customize your pokemon basically, its a lot of work though, I've done it twice so far, do it while watching TV or something and you'll make it. You also should get Pokerus and a Macho Brace to speed up the process (it'll take about 15 minutes per pokemon with those items/pokerus.) And vitamins (like zinc) will instantly use up EVs without having to battle. If u wanna know what pokemon give out what EVs look it up on google. EV guides are everywhere!

Ah the Pokerus. I have yet to get that darned thing.......Heck I have gotten more shinies than Pokerus (0 Pokerus to 10 total shinies in all my years of pokemon training).

Sweet! Most people get pokerus by trading an infected pokemon around the internet, spreading the disease from one ds to another.
