At first I wasn't to keen on the new DmC, but I'll have to play it now to actually decide whether or not I should condemn it lol That, and to see Vergil wearing a fedora... That mindset is highly amusing xD
I myself, if I absolutely had to choose, would probably say DMC 4 is my fave... Only because Dante 4 is my fave version of him... and Nero's pretty cool to lmao xD Now if only Vergil were in 4 I'd be all set! But it's definitely a close one between 3 and 4 x3

ive already condemned DMC5.. prepare for itemised reasons: 1 dante was way cooler making witty remarks rather than spamming curse words at the enemy. 2 they pretty much ripped off eagle eye in the idea of how the demons find dante. 3 the new producer modled the new dante after HIMSELF! 4 the idea of vergil helping dante after it has already been established in dmc3 that they hate each other really bugs me. 5 they droped all but 2 characters. i could go on, but im not really informed enough to judge weather theyre doing a "reboot" correctly or not. and finally, i dont much care for internet memes like "DONKEY PUNCH!" being in the games i buy. and that concludes my list of reasons why i hate DMC5..... "bra" ;]

Totally agree with the witty remarks compared to the cursing. The first time cursing was introduced by someone like Dante I believe was when they brought Nero in so I kinda wished they woulda stuck with that :/ I mean Nero's a young rebel, I would expect something like that from him, but not Dante.
I have no idea what Eagle Eye is so I can't say I agree or disagree there lol xD

Yeah I wasn't to keen on that when I found out about it. I mean really what's the one thing we DMC fans love the most about Dante and Vergil if not their family feud right? Their history with each other I find is what gave them both so much character. To change that is to change the whole course of the series I think. Plus, Vergil isn't "Nice". I don't think that word was ever in his vocabulary lmao
Well with the exception of a handful I'm not to upset about the lack of characters from the originals. I could do without Trish, I've always hated her, but I wish they had kept it more to the original story. Just judging by the trailers and gaming footage I've seen so far I think they deviated a little TOO far but as I said I have to play it first lol Who knows, it could prove to be an interesting game.
I have a feeling I'd prefer it as more of a standalone feature than a reboot to the series though.
For your last reason... I honestly have NO idea what Donkey Punch is all about xD lmao

eagle eye is a movie with the base idea that one super computer is controlling all electronics in the world. this AI halks into street cams, cell phones, TVs, exc. to help the protagonist throughout the movie... and donkey punch is a rather disgusting term in the urban dictonary that Dante shouts at one of the bosses during a fight.
