Well I felt kind of odd after watching Equestria Girls. And Before hand, I felt like the movie was wrong to me, I don't hate it, its just feels odd and abnormal to me. If you like it then thats okay with me.

Snips and Snails were villainized.
The villain was forgiven too quickly.
The character's human forms look worse than most fan made human versions I've seen.
They're making the Mane Six younger than they seem to be. Cheerilee is a teacher, and we know she's the same age as Rarity from Cutie Mark Chronicles.
The final battle was predictable.
What do Bronys say about those HUGE flaws? It seems more like G2 stuff to me.

1.) Snips and Snails were like that in the Trixie episode too. They just want to be part of something big.

4.) Maybe it's because they went between dimensions they changed ages. I think of the Cutie Mark crusaders as freshman and the mane six counterparts as seniors.

Trixie and the vending machine, the songs, the cutie mark crusaders, and Derpy were all awesome!
