The end of that movie seems likes the end of Kirby's Return to Dreamland with the whole transformation and taking over the universe vibe. Even had the same prologue where the enemy is cool with the hero

Awww.. now that is something which would be an awesome happening~ At first I never felt sorry for sunset shimmer, but at the end, it really hits you when you see that all she really wanted were some friends from the beginning but didn't know how to make them.
