Gosh I must have drawn this back in March.
Found these scans while looking for something else. 
I had this idea of Ruth learning how to see in the dark and having it enable her to fabricate her own reality. Or maybe it's all just a dream. SPOOOOKY!
Then I did a bit of cleanup on the one sketch for practice. I like them equally, but for different reasons.
She's supposed to be in the arms of another character, BUT WHO??? HMMM!!! YOU DECIDE!!!

I know I'm scarce nowadays. I promise it's not permanent.

Wow, the differences between the practice sketch and the cleaned up one are interesting to see...! (I like them both equally, too.)
(And I love her hair!!! Such volume! Such detail!)
The folds of dress are so believable in the way they behave--the way it's bunched in Ruth's hand as she walks forward.
(An excellent sense of dreamlike motion there as well. Very floaty, and like you'd expect her to be half-asleep.)

I LOVE THESE SKETCHES!
I never get tired of seeing Ruth and I don't think I ever will. I feel like she's beautiful, but not perfect, and I think that's a really good thing to execute and you did it so well. It's really awesome to look at your first drawings of her, and then looking at new ones, she has come a long way.
As for the prediction, I predict that she's in the arms of Joshua. for some reason, I kind of like the idea of Joshua and Ruth falling in love... or At least Joshua falling in love with her. It sounds to me like they spend a lot of time together in the house, and based off the drawings you've done of them so far, I sense a bit of chemistry.

Aw, she's so sweet! As nice as the cleaned-up version is, I'm still especially charmed by the quality of your sketches.
