Backstory:

An unlikely duo which came to be in the midst of the 5th Holy Grail War

Caster Medea of Colchis, the infamous Witch of Betrayal from Greek myth. A young woman whose life was led astray by the hero Jason and suffered a number of losses until she took her revenge and disappeared into history. A cautious sort, she was initially summoned by... a bastard modern Magus. However his foolishness and hubris led to Medea betraying and killing him, leaving her to wander until...

She met him

Souichirou Kuzuki, a former member of an assassin organization. which he had left and managed to settle down as a simple school teacher in Fuyuki City, and managing to attain lodging in the Ryuudou Temple at the outskirts. However his life would change as he found Medea.

The man would take in Medea, and despite her distrust, would soon gain her affection as he selflessly assisted her. As he was not a magus nor had anything close to magic, she fed off the natural Leyline of the land and took some of the lifeforce of the city. As the war began, Medea would be a passive force, though she'd be one of the few in the war to take interest in Saber Artoria Pendragon, admiring her appearance. Still, Medea and Souichirou subsisted through the war, and since then have settled down as inhabitants and somewhat protectors of the city...
