I really like this, you've got a good style of drawing. The details and environment fit the facial expression of the lost soldier mouse. It flows really nice, the grass and the mouse stance brings me vertically upwards, then the left mushroom seem to make me spread out my view of the top, horizontally, of the picture, along with the right mushroom bringing me back down to the mouses face. One thing I'd really add to this is shading. Because shading would make this whole light atmospheric place a real dark and overshadowing area. If you can make this drawing a lot deeper and bolder I think this will change the whole lost meaning to its actually lost. Maybe it doesn't just need to be bolder, but add in hash mark shades to this drawing to make it seem less plain. With that, adding more scrappy details to the uniform, or adding in some hair strands sticking out the mouse may seem tired and lost even more. I hope this makes sense. I'm happy with this though, good job and keep it up.

Now this is an interesting style used for this piece. What caught my eye on this pic is how the mouse soldier was drawn as if it something out of a storybook for children. Per "Inktober", I'm aware that you were required to draw out the picture entirely out of ink which can be very difficult considering how easily it can mark or stain a picture causing one to try to cover it or start over. But of course, there are very little to no mistakes left here as many lines seem smooth and straight. The mouse soldier, at least that is what it seems like judging by the attire he is wearing, is lost and expressing discomfort and concern on the environment he is in. My imagination tells me that he may be looking for home due to exile or loss of his former home.

This does not draw our attention away from the background as it presents a world the mouse soldier is trapped in, like a labyrinth. The mushrooms and grass look smooth and well done, however my only minor concern is the ink blot over the mushroom on the right as it seems to be a smear on the drawing, however I could be wrong and it may the shadow in the background.

Very nice pic, and it the darkness in the background could be a bit smoother. Good job.

This is on behalf of so here we go.

Inktober is something I have seen a few times and it always gives way to some great art, it's amazing how beautiful some pieces can be without the aid of digital work. We may not be able to say the old ways are the best ways but they can be pretty damn good, and with inktober comes a level of nostalgia which this piece seems to have in spades. I remember such tales as the city mouse and the country mouse and this fellow brings back fond memories of that tale. This style would suit a children's storybook down to the ground, he even has the little bindle sack.

Now whilst the mouse is adorable and looks very dapper in that jacket I must now draw focus to the background, and how incredible it is.  The detail on the mushrooms is amazing and the shading lends itself to the big world you seemed to be going for. The whole thing feels like we are seeing it from this cute critter's perspective and that is fantastic. All in all we have a bit of a fairytale scene which could be right out of a children's book and it would be one I'd happily like to see if only for the amazing art. Good show.
