NJ Transit put 4877 into Tuscan Red in the 80s shortly before retiring her and donating her to the United Rail Historical Society of New Jersey. However the URHS repainted her to her original scheme, Brunswick Green with Pinstripes, recently.

Indeed, though for all the abuse and deferred maintenance they were put through they had remarkably long careers

Between the fact that PRR/PC/Conrail/NJ Transit ran them into the ground and that they use PCBs in their transformers, I just don't see it happening
