This was a blast to do. I wasn't happy with the other Godzilla pic in my gallery, so I wanted to make something else to trump it. This is the version of Godzilla from "Godzilla, Mothra and King Gidorah - Giant Monsters All-Out-Attack" Great title, huh? Where Godzilla is painted to be much more of a villain, and he's actually the disembodied souls of all those who died in the bombing of Hiroshima, who are mad at modern Japan for forgetting about their suffering.A little more philosophical then the the "mutated dinosaur" origin.
So while I cheated a bit on this, as I just used a photo of Tokyo for the background, I actually worked pretty hard with all the fire/smoke and spark effects. I think it turned out really great!

Sorry, but the original Godzilla(1954) is FAR more philosophical than ANY G film that followed. He is the allegorical hammer of God attacking humanity for creating nuclear weapons. And he isn't a mutant in '54. The idea was that he is simply a dinosaur that had the heat ray(much like the 2014 version) and he is supposed to be physically deformed from radiation burns and suffering rad poisoning. They wanted to treat him as realistic as the fx technology of the time allowed.

Also the plot of GMAOA wasn't that crazy compared to vs King Ghidorah with the robot man from the future or vs Space Godzilla where a half plant half Godzilla hybrid (Biollante) combine with stuff in outer space to make a blue version of Godzilla with crystal powers.
Man those shows were weird as shit. But that's what made them awesome.
