Been meaning to do another cute image of Azure and Luna together and I figured that, with doing a contest it would be just the excuse I needed.Anyway, since the theme for the contest was "Spring" I thought a bit and figured that the best idea (at least that I could come up with) would be Azure and Luna participating in Hanami (flower viewing). This is quite popular in Japan during the spring time when the flowers start to bloom. Not just any flowers, but the Cherry Blossoms. But of course we're talking about two night ponies so they decided to do a Yozakura (Night Sakura) viewing instead. Nothing like seeing the Cherry Blossoms lit by moonlight. They traveled all the way to Neigh-gasaki to see the blossoms.

I dunno, Crater and Nightengale (the only two who'd have the balls to do it to Azure cause Moonshine's not mean like that) are pretty crafty so I dunno if Twilight would be able to.

I just don't see Luna with a guy who's horn is oddly shaped and who has a beard. ALSO, I don't see her with a pony of the same color. Same with the fact that he looks older than her. Just an opinion.

Plus they're not REALLY the same color, they are different shades of blue. As for his horn and goatee, so? Then with matters of age, she's like over 1,000 years old, it wouldn't matter who she wound up with, they'd end up looking older than her eventually.
