His kingdom fell when he was still a child, during the conflict his father gave his own life to make sure Ginei escaped and survived. Escorted by two knights of his fathers Ginei fled the city and went to a neighboring kingdom. There they stayed in hiding for ten years.

When Ginei turned sixteen he set out with the two, now old men, knights to begin preparations for a war. A war that would end in the downfall of the Sanctus Empire. They spent another ten years secretly gathering supplies and recruiting people to fight. Now, Ginei is standing at the head of a truly unstoppable army, one that can end the terror-filled reign of the Sanctus Empire.

During this time Ginei met a strange young girl named Nicco. Who had this odd trait that made her body would change from a normal human to a black cat beast-kin.
