Personally always thought Poison Ivy from the 2004 cartoon The Batman was the most interesting and unique from a design perspective. Always thought some of Bruce Timm's designs were kinda...boring.

The one in The Batman seems underage so lol definitely would steer clear of that one. I think my other favorite Poison Ivy is either 97's Batman and Robin or the new Justice League Action design. but for me the Timm designs are the default gold standard since its what I grew up with.

That’s why I said design, I get she’s more than likely in that ambiguous 16-19 age, but I meant things like how her hair is shaped like a flower and her plant powers are explained because of chemical accident, I guess for me the problem I have with poison ivy is they want their cake and eat it too in playing up the green plant side, yet cheesecake and lesbian her out the whazoo with Harley Quinn, another character I like....but has gotten way too much exposure and become...well kinda obnoxious with how over saturated with exposure. I dunno, always felt like plenty of opportunities for female DC villains but they don’t all have to be size 2 pinups

Hmm, yea I guess it depends. I've just always seen Poison Ivy and Catwoman as "the sexy" ones among DC villains. I don't think that should be how they all are, but those for me are defining traits of how many have always seen those characters. Like I assume you don't think no character can be sexy? the classical take on Poison Ivy seems to be based on the "Venus Fly trap" similar to the black widow spider femme fatal archetype. Its super overdone but I suppose my stance beyond my bias nostalgia is I see her as one of the oldest staples of the archetype, not "Ivy being overly sexualized"
That being said I do appreciate how they've tried to mix things up with her portrayl in The Batman and Gotham (until Gotham switched to making her sexy mid show, which I am against that drastic of a character shift, to me that's wanting your cake and eat it too). The Duality of Ivy's sexiness and her environmentalism is similar to Two Face's fractured psyche/fall from grace and his goofy obsession with the number 2. That is a staple of Batman villains for me. Anyway not trying to sell you on some other version of the character, just that if any female villain should be the Sexy one, I feel Ivy actually makes more sense than most. I have considered designing my own take on Ivy though, something I've done with Emma Frost and other characters who've had more than one costume people see as "iconic".
