Our local symphony donated about twenty broken violins and cellos to my gallery, and we decided to distribute them to the local professional artists to paint. We're going to auction them off as a fundraiser for the Youth Symphony. I finished mine yesterday - it's oil, so I'll let it dry thoroughly before spraying it and then I'll re-attach the hardware and strings.
