My entry for 's contest, to draw her dragon with a personal character. So here's her Satin racing my Embyrn.

This. Piece. Took. Forever. I can't even say how long this thing took. FOREVER. My "speedpaintings" are getting slower the more I do. GAWD there's something wrong with me. Grarg. But, hey, it's finished!!!!

So, anyway, the point of the contest was to draw Satin being awesome and in-character. At first I was just going to do something generic and cool-looking, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized that Satin is JUST LIKE EMBYRN. SRSLY. THEY COULD BE TWINS. They're both goofy, temperamental, fierce, and competitive (and awesome ). And red. Go figure. So I thought that if the two of them ever met, they'd instantly hit it off and, ten minutes later, be going for each other's throats. So why not let off some steam in a nice race?

Who's winning? I have no idea! You can decide for yourselves!

Oh, and , I used the wing markings from Satin's "new" ref; I really liked the spots along the outer edge. If you'd rather I took them off, that's fine; I just thought they looked really sharp!

Oh, and I had the song "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor in my head the whole time I was doing this. So I guess it fits.

Ok, I'll go die now. Or, actually, I'll finish April's gryph. Curses, foiled again!
