I absolutely adore the lighting effect on this and the richness of the colors! My sister and I often will have little art jams while we're both at the table together and after creating this stellar piece, we talked and she walked me through the process of how she did the lighting and what not. I need a bit of practice to match that sort of quality I want to try to increase my ability of coloring to meet this and make this my standard moving forward. I might just make this into a con badge for this year!

Hopefully so! I've recently changed to a new color on my rug/blanket(it'll be a rug that doubles as a blanket when it gets cold again), and am considering measuring it again tomorrow. I'm just too tired to do it tonight.

Yeah, that's kind of what I thought, too. It's got a lot of southwestern-ish colors in it, like light yellow, some cranberry/wine-ish yarn, light blue, cream, white...Got some peach-y orange and a rose pink that'll be up next.^^

Oh yeah, I'm hoping so! It's at 44 inches from one point to the other (measuring across, not along the side), and each round adds 2 inches, so....It shouldn't be too much longer, now!
