Wanted to show how the two looked together, I love how this turned out so much! I think both cats show so much personality and movement, especially contrasted against each other!

When I painted the first one I wasn’t planning to do another, but it ended up being so pale and I thought a very dark one would contrast it so nicely! Neither turned out quite how I originally planned but I think they both ended up in a good place.

That’s the fun of this loose style! I do whatever feels right, and in the words of Tahlia Stanton, “let go and allow the painting to be exactly what it wants to be.” And this usually means the final result goes somewhere unexpected!
