Description I have a theory about the 3rd season of Korra that's probably wrong (like most the theories I come up with about LoK). Β I was very disappointed with Bolin in the 2nd season but I feel like I'm starting to get excited about this series again.
On the sketchy side, I'll probably clean it up a bit more later on.

But it does make sense...
Bolin's father is from the Earth Kingdom and inherited his earth bending heritage, and with his mother being of Fire Nation, he can add a touch of heat.
What happens with rocks that get super-heated?
