Description
This is one of the reasons the latest comic page took me so long to post! I was recently in "first steps" with a studio for a position in their art department. I had to create 3 samples based on certain materials I was given. In the end I did not get the job, but I enjoyed doing work in a style that was a little out of my comfort zone. Personally I was pleased with the way they came out. I happy to get to draw something with a bit of blood in it!Related content

Thanks so much! This piece actually isn't from a comic, but from a tryout for a story artist job. Part of their selection process involved giving you a few thumbnails to start and then you had to create a full illustrations in the style they're looking for. This image, and my other pieces, "Kingdom" and "Rain of Fire" were all part of that test.
I'm glad you like! Werewolves are probably one of my favorite mythical creatures, and I admit that's probably 100% because of Professor Lupin from Harry Potter.

That's fantastic! I love your use of contrast and shadow. The stylization almost reminds me of something Genndy Tartakovsy would draw, but with much greater detail.
