Description Since my art is a collection of straight lines, I was once asked how many lines are in my usual drawings. At the time I had never counted how many. So the next drawing I did after that question, I counted the lines and it turns out that the average drawing has about 10,000 lines per 11x14 in paper.

So then I wondered how many lines I could fit on a large piece of paper. So I went out and got a 28x36in piece of paper and started to draw. Counting every line, pausing periodically, writing the number I was at on the far side of the paper; adding them up as I went along. The result is the drawing you see here. It is the first of five panels that will eventually contain a minimum of one MILLION lines total. This particular drawing has 171,483 lines. This first of five panels will be the center piece of the finished product. This drawing took ten months, working approximately three hours per session, at least four times a week.

The original of this panel is available for sale for $7500, or the equivalent in BitCoin, with a 20% discount for BitCoin purchases.

The value of each panel will increase with the completion of each subsequent panel, and an over-all price will be determined for the whole set once it is completed.

Any comments are always appreciated, so please feel free to express how this, and any of my other works of art make you feel or what you see in them. Everyone see's something different in my work and I would love to hear from each of you. Especially if you look at the drawings from different angels.

Have a blessed and wonderful day

Oh sweet lord O.O This is an incredible paraphernalia of shapes and lines.
The complexity is overwhelming
But everything looks so well drawn and lit.
I just don't know what to say anymore

I love how much attention you pay to the details and how much effort you put in your art. I also like how certain shapes are repeated.

The amount of detail in this is absolutely incredible! I love how you have varied the contrast throughout as well as creating so much depth - particularly at the left of the image. Great work.

I can't give much critique, but the thumbnail to this caught my eye because it has a sort of gradient. I like how it's light in the center and then gets progressively darker; it adds a smooth quality to the piece. Very well done; you have the patience of a saint (especially so since you counted the lines).

I had a project similar to this last semester called 30,000 marks, in which you had to do a self portrait using at least 30,000 marks and develop a way to count them. Every professor that teaches that class assigns this project, however i think mine was the only one who required it to be a self portrait

you did a very nice job on this, however I'd like to suggest making it less busy. Give the eye a place to rest, its quite overwhelming which is a bit of a shame since there is so many wonderful details

The point of this image isn't to have a center point. I didn't name it One Million Lines for nothing. The point of this piece (and the subsequent pieces) is to literally fit one million lines in the whole image. So having a center piece or make it any less busy would make the drawing either not have one million lines or wouldn't give it the impact. I appreciate your insight though, and I thank you for the suggestions. However I do feel like you missed the over all feel of this particular drawing. Thanks again!
