Description I have been getting a lot of people asking for requests. I am flattered by their interest, however if I say I do not do requests they immediately start to guilt trip me. I hope this stamp will make it more clear as to why I do not take requests I am not an jerk or anything.

Feel free to use this stamp.

Why thank you! I thought it got the message across. Feel free to use it on your page. I know many artists have the same problem. It is flattering but...becomes daunting.

Helping out my dad's non-for-profit busisness, I totally understand where you're coming from.

definitely love it and can seriously agree. requests are all well and good but...paid commissions are always more welcome to take on than working for free

Indeed, we need to give those bone heads a wake up call. There are some artists here who really paint to scrape a living and they don't have anymore financial supports from other people, like their parents, for example. Btw, I use this one on my journal. Love it! ^__^

Oh my gosh! thank you so much EM! I'm so honored you used one of my stamps yeeeeeee!

It is very true, there are plenty of DA's who do art trades and requests
i sadly like you said have to do it for a living. I work as a freelance artist for companies online and around my area, it pays to keep my business running, pays the rent, and pays for any products i need to keep making art. it is a very cyclical thing. I do feel some people need to be woken up, I have told many, several times I do not take requests or trades, and they guilt me as if I am a bad person, when I try to explain that the job situation, they just say oh ok well maybe I can catch you when ur less busy. no..thats NOT how that works. I am always gonna be busy. if i stop, money runs dry, and the business does not get off the ground.
i was hoping this stamp was assertive without being mean.

Just a little suggestion, the long texts on the stamp are too fast too read, especially for non native speaker of English

I was worried it was to fast.

I thought it would give more time for some people to discern the words & let them sip into their minds...

yah no prob thanks for the feedback i was worried i made it to fast. and I read pretty slow myself so I was worried I would slow it down and loose interest. I can easily fix it and replace it.

hey em? I hate to bug you, but since you were nice enough to critique my stamp. would u mind giving me some pointers on my east meets west? I am having the hardest time with foreground middleground and background joining together. I value your opinion as a VERY detailed digital painter. If you don't mind, I know you are busy. n_n

Done. Sorry for the delay.
I need some time to mourn on my last departed hamster + deadlines.
