i suppose that is a ps cs goodie ^^ poor gimp users have to search for amateur brushes.
Anyways. Amazing! Must have taken ages to add those textures. I would have believed you if you said something like" i first did the crayon basics and then overpainted it with watercolours"

Haha thanks! Yeah in PS its pretty easy to make your own brushes, or variations on existing brushes by other artists. I've never used gimp before.

If you have ps gimp is just the bycicle if you have a car... you can get from a to b but neither as fast nor as comfortable... But ps is just so damn wxpensive.... even if one's a student and could get the cheaper price

Yeah it is really expensive, I was able to get a full version on discount through my school a few years back for cs4 thankfully. The student edition is just too basic, and supposedly can't be used professionally. >.<

No. I have to look for that one. To be honest i know a lot of people who don't own a legal version. And i know their maximum price they would pay. It is not that small. Many would pay 200-300β¬ (around 400$???) to get a leagal, full version. They would have to make it cheaper but i'd say they'd sell about 10x what they do now.
I personally think they would earn more but i suppose it is also an image thing.
Like if chanel sold tees vor 100-200 bucks they would sell more but their image would change...

Yeah. It would do well for them to help out their customers and sort of foster the new incoming generation of artists. But I've heard that the student version can be used professionally now after school is done, so who knows.
