It's really beautiful. My favorite part is the hair, with all the strands and details done on it, but I can't deny the fact that I also love her clothes and her wings ^^.

About the hair, maybe you can do some "bumps" around the line that does she shape of her head, if you know what I mean. It will give a more realistic look.

I think I saw in a tutorial that you change the lineart of the skin, for example, and, instead of leaving it black, change the color to a darker tone of her actual skin color to make it blend together. I don't know if it will look nicer though, since I already love how it looks right now.

Red is a great color of choice. It suits her well, and the background gives me some sort of feeling about this. I can't really describe it, but it's a positive feeling .

^^ love it! You sure like making squigly backgrounds
One way to make backgrounds a little more painless and fun is to get a variety of brushes and layer them using the blending options and just tinkering. It would produce something pretty cool looking that may just be fit for what you are looking for. Just food for thought!

Takes time! You did a really good job. If you draw some of those squigglies on white as a dark color in CS/2 and then go Select > All and then goto Edit > Define Brush Preset, give it a name and you have a squiggle brush that you made. If you click on the brush tool and then click up at the top where you select what kind of brush tip to use, click the little arrow to the right of the px size box. You can save the brush you just created so it doesnt go poof. maybe that will help
