Description Otherwise known as "A Step Between Worlds 2".

So, almost 17 months after I drew the first one , I finally got a chance to redraw it. The Kick Your Own @ss competition was just the motivation I needed to redraw it - I've never spent over 3 weeks on a picture before, simply because I don't have a long enough attention span. XD;;

I recommend entering, it's a fun little competition. ^-^

Well, I guess you can see some obvious Photoshop defaults, such as the grass tool.. but this version is definitely closer to what I had in mind when I was drawing the first one. But I was only 14 back then, I'd only been using Photoshop for 3 years.

One thing that's significantly different though is the use of a chalk world instead of a sketch world. Sketch world just.. didn't work XD it clashed with the picture.

The next time I remake this drawing (if it happens), I will try not to use Photoshop default brushes, and draw every single grass blade myself.

OK, that's enough rambling for one day. I'm going to go play Zoo Tycoon. *nostalgia*

Haha thank you XD It's terrible that I'm so slack though, I very rarely put such detail into pictures because I'm abnormally slow at doing it and I lose patience. So at the moment while I don't have Photoshop I've been trying to improve on my traditional art and get quicker.

Wow...I couldn't tell you used the grass brush at all.

I love the feel of this--it's so...nice. It gets me. (Don't ask). XD The details are awsome, and the lighting is great! Keep it up dear!
