trying to force myself to draw something, really not inspired right now. whooooooooooooooooooooooo. this took me way too long to finish, all i want to do is sleep and mope.
i want to draw something bigger, but i just haven't been able to bring myself to do it lately.
the colors are pretty washed out here, if i make some prints i'll try to get a better scan first

So delicately pretty... I don't personally find anything wrong with the shading, either- it's just dark enough that your lovely little figure stands out, and I really like the reflection you put of her in the water. I work in small sizes, too, and sometimes, a bit of detail has to get sacrificed in order to do the image. I like copic pens- they have them in some teeny nib sizes that work well (I use wee brushes, too). They're so easy to destroy, though- I press too hard. Blah.

thanks, a lot of my critter designs are quite heavily influenced by aquatic animals, so there was definitely some lion fish influence

I think the colors are alright. Not uber great, more than likely because of the small size prohibiting some more intense shading on the smaller objects, son. But they are definitely not terrible.

the shading's really a lot nicer IRL, i don't usually have trouble shading things this small. i'll try to rescan it for the print version, it's pretty washed out here.

XD no prob I still think a lot of your works had decent movement in them though, like that one of those autumn leaf dragons? I can't remember exactly which one, but i assure you, you still had movement in some of the old ones, trust me.

i'll be offering them privately, and they wont be very expensive, probably like a buck each because they're so small. i may or may not have to set a minimum order of five bucks or something though, it would be a huge pain to send out a bunch of envelopes and only get like, a buck off of each one.

I dun blame you on that one -_- plus, you should think how long it took you to make it, materials (everything is soo expensive now-a-days ) not to mention profit...artists have to eat to ya know ^_~
