Didn't quite know what to make of it as I was not familiar with the covers you mentioned. However, if I may give an "off the cuff" opinion I would say that I find the colour scheme pleasing to the eye and that the simple arrangement of shapes does hold my mind in reverance. I can certainly see it as an album cover for a band that has something to say. It almost has a feel of the 70's (non disco-pop though)
