Dear Loyal Watchers, Interested Visitors, and Confused Passersby:

I thought that I might try something new with my journals. It seems to me that there are an awful lot of very wonderful people among my Watchers. It also just so happens that some of the most creative and inspirational people I've ever met just so happen to be among my Watchers too! Also, my Watchers are introspective, interesting, captivating, etc., etc., etc., ad infinitum...

The one thing that a lot of the above noted amazing people are not, however, is well known among the fandom. That's right, if you're seeking proof that the world is an unfair place then all you need know is that some of the best art I've ever seen or stories I've ever read in a fandom were written by people who've been on D.A. months, sometimes years, longer than I and yet have not as many pageviews.

I consider this unfair. After all, not everybody can spam seventeen stories in eleven months to drive up their views, eh?

So, what I'll be doing every so often (especially right before one of my stories gets submitted to groups or Daily) is tossing you a question that goes like this, "Solve for X: Who wrote the best BloombergXWinona shipfic I've ever read?"

And of course, since the "X" will be the freakin' title of the journal, you'll know who it was pretty quick...

So, let's get this started, shall we?

Okay, let's see...wonderful, creative, oh! I know!

"Solve for X: Who excels at not one but two woefully under-appreciated crafts here in the fandom?"

Answer:

I first met Razzyrazz, whom I simply call Raz, on Equestria Forums wherein she quickly impressed me as not only a buoyant spirit but one of the very few people who actually got some of my lame jokes. Constantly happy and energetic the topics would simply light up when she would post, almost like she was a walking hydro-electric station.

If they walked, which I admit they aren't prone to do on most occasions...

To my delight I discovered that she was of the artistic bent!

We in this fandom don't pay enough attention to the hand-crafters who make up a small, yet impressively talented, segment of our community. Upon gazing upon Raz's works how can anyone doubt that the hand-crafters are anything other than real and amazing talents?

Seriously, this is so adorable I may implode.

Her charms are made of a material called "Sculptey (TM)(C)(SM)(BBQ)" which, if I am not mistaken, is made up mostly from the dried salts of angel tears. Or clay, probably clay.

Stop it! Stop being adorable!

I'm not a huge fan of the "blobs". Their oblong countenance strikes me more as abominations that would haunt the deepest layers of my personal distopia, but Raz has somehow made me enjoy them. At the very least they now hover at the topmost layers of my personal distopia.

I'm pretty sure that when you commission her to do these things she sends you some insulin in the box as a bonus, but don't quote me on that.

The second craft that she has impressed me with is her cosplay abilities. We don't appreciate those who are able to make clothing as much as we should either. As I refuse to shave my beard my options are limited, but I'd probably sell one of my kidneys to get a Starswirl the Bearded costume out of her. Look at this Derpy piece she put together and tell me this isn't art! You'd be a liar, you miserable liar you!

So, in the end, we don't appreciate people like Raz enough, and I'm going to do my best to get to as many as I can.
