Description The wohnsel are massive aquatic beasts that can be found on planets with very large bodies of water. These behemoth-sized beasts are so large they make blue whales look like tiny goldfish next to them. These animals are slow swimmers, gliding through the ocean without a care in the world. The wohnsel can live to be hundreds of years old, some are so old that they have entire coral reefs and ecosystems growing on their backs and bellies. The wohnsels are gentle giants as long as they're not feeding. When feeding they spread apart their lower jaw and inhale anything they can catch. They usually target fish, but sometimes humans get sucked up that are too close or ships sailing by. Sailors avoid feeding wohnsel in fear of them swallowing and eating their ship and crew. They are able to tell when the wonsel is about to feed by keeping an eye out for the wohnsels massive fins. When a wohnsel feeds, mates, or puts on a display for territory they spread out their long fins and tail fins that trail like long sheets behind them. So when they have their fins on display sailors get as far away from them as possible in fear of them getting ready to feed. Not much else is known about these massive creatures.

beautiful creature definitely something I'd want to see in real life. Probably what I like most about this is how even though it's this gigantic scary looking monster its actually quite docile and is even able to support a miniature eco-system. The originality of this creature is amazing I haven't seen anything like this on DA. Love the detail you put into the coral on it's back and the fish swimming along side it on its fins. The only thing that throws me is how smooth the rest of its body is, and that may just be me not being able to tell if this is a mammal like a whale or a fish because I can see what look like gills behind the mouth but not sure. Still this picture is amazing and the originality of your wohnsel is great I love how you always come up with these detailed back stories for all your creatures. you not only create them but you give them a story as well to explain how they work and what they're like it just amazes me how creative you are with these.
