"Demi-humans, also known as halfbloods or beast-people, are believed the be the descendants of animal spirits and the common ancestors of mankind. Most will share some physical features with animals, though to a limited extent, unlike true Beastmen. On occasion Devil-humans may be confused with Demi-humans due to physical resemblances. However, the key difference is that Devil-humans are confirmed to have descended from primordial entities rather than animal spirits."

Though their populations are relatively small, some Demi-humans have sought the path of adventurers in the face of impending chaos, or chose to serve under the banners of other powers. They are perceived differently by various cultures - revered by some, and disdained or feared by others."
