Today, we lost the voice actor for the Soldier. Since 2007, Rick May gave that crazy rocket man a voice.
It was HIS voice we heard when we got a domination as Soldier...
It was HIS voice we heard when we taunted over our defeated opponents as Soldier...
It was HIS voice we heard tell the Medic he teleported bread for three days straight in Expiration Date...
It was HIS voice we heard say "Dear god..." when Spy placed a bucket on a table...
Although Rick has now passed, his legacy will live on; through Team Fortress 2, Star Fox, and every other game and show he's been a part of.
So on behalf of myself and the Team Fortress 2 community,
"You were good son, real good. Maybe even the best..."
"Godspeed you magnificent bastard..."
