Perfection.

Most would think Mr. Fabulous considered himself the best. And he was. No stallion or mare could match his beauty nor his speed. After some foolish captured mustang told him that there were better stallions in Cottonwood Valley, he set off immediately to prove that mustang wrong. Yet, there was something he learned just a few weeks into his journey: perfection meant being the best at everything. Fight after fight, the pampered stallion soon realized he lacked the bravery and heart of true perfection. He once ran from a stallion threatening a mare and her foals, scared of what that stallion could do to him. It was humbling and disheartening. How could he look at himself in the river when all he saw were his flaws?

So, he just wandered, unsure of where he was going. Each herd he met on the way never satisfied him, and he never felt at home. He started to think he was cursed in his pursuit of perfection, as he discovered there wasn't a single horse on earth that could rise to his standards. Everything on earth was imperfect.

And then he met Pluto.

The colt was young, brash, cold, and grumpy. But he had the spirit of the wild, the heart of the eagle, and beauty that rivaled his own. Mr. Fabulous never felt the urge to leave when Pluto was around, and although the young stallion was still growing and learning and letting life polish out the edges, Mr. Fabulous knew he'd found it.

He had found his perfect imperfection.
