Mighty was not in StH06, Mighty is not in S&tSR and he's probably not gonna be in the next one too -__-

No offense to all of you, but to be completely and totally honest with you, I believe Mighty has to be the most overrated character in the history of Sonic. Seriously, EVERYBODY wants him back! I don't see anybody wanting Metal Knuckles or Ray the Flying Squirrel or Silver/Mecha Sonic back! And what about Bean? Bean is the awesomes, but nobody wants him back! Its always about Mighty, Mighty, Mighty!
And what if they DO bring him back? (Which they won't because Sonic Team seems to have a reputation for not living up to the expectations of just about everybody these days.) Everybody is going to see it coming, and there is a good chance that they might not like how Sonic Team handles him in the new games. And, besides, Mighty doesn't like fighting, and could rival Big in the easygoing, kindred soul category!
While people in Japan like characters like Big and Mighty who are fluffy and not prone to fisticuffs, the AMERICAN audience, the one audience that SEGA gets the most MONEY off of, doesn't! Same with Raiden from Metal Gear Solid! The Japanese love androgynous pretty boys! Americans don't! (Not to mention the dub treatment given to Raiden makes him sound whiny. Big's dub treatment is even worse, making 97% of all people think he suffers from some form of mental retardation. WHICH HE DOESN'T. He just wants to live life at a reasonable pace, which is quite different for a certain hedgehog we all know and love!)
When Kojima changed Raiden into a badass for Metal Gear 4, he did it with the AMERICAN audience in mind. To be honest, it doesn't really matter whether people love Mighty now, because they're sure going to hate him when they find out hes a wimp! Which he isn't. But they'll think he is! Mark my words!
But besides that long, angry rant that will stretch the page and make everybody hate me, this picture is quite good. Shows off Mighty's sorrow quite nicely, and that laughing Shadow is a nice touch. (STFU, OLD MAN HOG. YOUR TIME IS OVER! D:< )

you got some interesting points here
something is sure, but one day he's gonna problably be back like Amy was in SA1 and Metal Sonic and the Chaotix were Heroes and even Nega (!!) was in Rivals..everybody comes back even when we don't expect this! even Chaos was back in sonic battle! but as an old OLD character they're maybe change him a lot- but it's not sure! Espio and Amy for exemple weren't really developped..no really!
But mighty like knuckles, had Shoes that everybody remember...im not sure they're gonna change it a lot!
Maybe just his personage will differ a lot..he's gonna be a tough guy and a badass character, no more the peacefull traveller
next time mighty will have his revenge against shadow
