Does anyone else think the Defiant might fit in the Enterprise-E main hangar bay?
Jeez, that's one big ship!

I think the Defiant is too wide for the hangar bays. But I have seen a fan design of a Sovereign based dreadnought that had a Defiant as an auxilliary ship attached to the lower saucer, Captain's Yacht style.

It's suppsoed be a dreadnought, so what's better to have for a dreadnought's auxiliary craft then a Defiant?

My thought exactly---if they could indeed carry a Defiant-class, it would make an excellent scout ship---or the Sovereign-class would make an excellent base ship for the Defiant.
Like Voyager's Delta Flyer, but on a grand scale.

I have to say... the ONE thing I didn't like about this episode above all else... the Ent-E had a shield bubble in this fight, instead of the form-fitting shields we see in both Insurrection and Nemesis *shrugs* Other than that, woot! Go kick some ass Enterprise!

They probably didn't have the CGI tech back when they did FC...

Good point... I keep forgetting FC is a fair bit older in terms of tech standards used in production... I actually do have to wonder, on a production standpoint, what it takes to show the form-fitting shield overlay.

Thinking about it, it might also be that the shields got an upgrade somewhen between these movies.

True, I mean the Ent-E did get kinda FUBAR'ed from the inside thanks to the Borg

Why, probably material for a new series...
...
At least some mini series, like, 6 episodes long.
